Dr. Kathy Taylor graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. She also graduated from Auburn School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Taylor has been a small animal practitioner for 43 years with a special interest in internal medicine and dermatology. Her past lives include owning an interest and working in her spare time on a 550-acre dairy and beef farm, raising calves, milking cows, and working in tobacco. Followed by being on a smaller 30-acre farm raising cows and llamas. Eventually, she owned 60 llamas. She enjoyed taking the llamas to schools and having them in the Kentucky Derby parade. Taylor joined Jefferson Animal Hospital in 2022. Taylor now lives quietly taking care of her small yard, enjoying her good neighbors and friends, reading, and caring for her special needs 14-year-old Bichon, Maxx.
